A beautiful antique Mazalagan rug, handwoven in west Persia circa 1900 with a hexagonal medallion of stylised flowers on a plain red field. Note the small animal motifs in the corner spandrels. Finely woven and lovely wool quality.
Size: 1.87m x 1.41m (6ft 2in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
