A wonderful antique Bakhtiar rug, woven circa 1910. The design features five large floral motifs interspersed with large palmettes and flower heads on a very soft, almost ivory, pink field framed by a deep indigo border. Beautiful secondary colours including blues, greens and golds and a highly decorative and unusual rug.
Size: 2.08m x 1.43m (6ft 10in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in very good condition with full pile and barely any wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
