A lovely antique Ferahan rug, hand woven circa 1910 featuring an all over geometrical design of stylised flowers and vines on a terracotta field and indigo border. Finely woven with great secondary colours, particularly the green in the minor border.
Size: 1.96m x 1.36m (6ft 5in x 4ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with all over medium wear. A few small repairs, particularly in the corners and a small one in the centre (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
