A fabulous antique Isfahan rug, woven circa 1900. The design features a large circular medallion on a rich red field of flowers and vines surrounded by an elegant red border. Finely woven with wonderful secondary colours of greens, golds and pinks and a very decorative rug.
Size: 2.09m x 1.39m (6ft 10in x 4ft 7in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a few places, especially one section of the outer border (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
