A wonderful antique Kashan rug, hand woven circa 1920. The rug features an all over design of large flower heads and palmettes connected by scrolling vines and arabesques on an uncommon ivory field and red border. An elegantly drawn design with classic Kashan colours.
Size: 2.12m x 1.31m (7ft x 4ft 4in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Very slight discolouration to ivory field, barely visible (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
