A beautiful antique Bakhtiar rug, woven circa 1910. The design features a circular medallion on an ivory field of stylised flowers, surrounded by a pretty deep indigo border. Lovely wool quality and fabulous secondary colours including a oft sage green and highlights of soft pink.
Size: 1.92m x 1.35m (6ft 4in x 4ft 5in)
This rug is in good, original condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
