A beautiful antique Afshar rug, handwoven circa 1900 with an all over geometrical design of shrubs and flowers on an ivory field and light indigo border. A great example of tribal weaving and a very decorative rug.
Size: 1.90m x 1.56m (6ft 3in x 5ft 2in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate even wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
