A fabulous antique Qashqai rug, handwoven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1910. This rug features a 3 medallion design on a mid blue field and great secondary colours, particularly the unusual green medallions. Very finely woven for a tribal rug.
Size: 2.62m x 1.57m (8ft 7in x 5ft 2in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate even wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are original, very slight damage to bottom kilim fringe but structurally secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
