A wonderful antique tribal rug, woven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe circa 1900. The design features three geometrical medallions on a mid indigo field surrounded by an ivory border. Finely woven for a tribal rug with a wonderfully asymmetrical design and great colours.
Size: 1.86m x 0.97m (6ft 1in x 3ft 2in)
This rug has moderate, even wear slightly heavier in a few areas (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
