A beautiful vintage Gabbeh rug, handwoven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe in the mid 20th Century. The design features 3 hexagonal medallions on a rich red field surrounded by a small checkerboard border. Lovely wool quality.
Size: 1.60m x 1.05m (5ft 3in x 3ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a tiny spot of the medallion (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
