A fabulous antique Ningxia rug, woven in northern China circa 1920. The design features 2 circular medallions containing 3 Fu dogs interspersed with stylised flowers and vines on a rare gold field surrounded by a simple key border. Lovely wool quality and great colours make this a decorative little rug.
Size: 1.68m x 0.76m (5ft 6in x 2ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
