Antique Karabagh Long Rug 2.97m x 1.17m
A fabulous antique Karabagh rug, handwoven in the southern Caucasus mountains of modern day Azerbaijan circa 1900. The design features an offset medallion on an open red field and terracotta border. Lovely secondary colours including a beautiful green in the outer border. Note the way the weaver didn’t repeat the corner spandrels at the top of the rug.
Size: 2.97m x 1.17m (9ft 9in x 3ft 10in)
This rug has light, age related wear. Very small repair to main field, professionally done and barely noticeable (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

To put it simply, I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your rug, please return it to me in it's original condition within 14 days for a full refund.
As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
