Antique Heriz Runner 3.62m x 0.95m
A fabulous antique Heriz runner, woven in the first quarter of the C20th. The design features a series of geometrical medallions on a terracotta field surrounded by an ivory and camel border. There’s a lot to like - full pile, great colours, figures and even the weaver’s signature (Rasoul). There is also a date, however it's quite difficult to read. Some of my esteemed colleagues believe it is 1319 (making it 1901) while others suggest it is 1347 (making it 1929). Either way, it's old (and great).

This runner is in good condition with full, chunky pile. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
