A lovely vintage Sarouk rug, handwoven circa 1940 with a floral medallion on a deep indigo, almost black field surrounded by a free-flowing terracotta border. Finely woven with lovely quality wool and great secondary colours.
Size: 2.06m x 1.35m (6ft 9in x 4ft 5in)
This rug is in good original condition with minimal wear. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
