A beautiful antique Khamseh rug, hand woven circa 1900 with an all over Boteh design on an ivory field and terracotta border. Try to find the solitary Khamseh chicken! Great secondary colours and a great example of tribal weaving.

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
