A beautiful antique Heriz carpet, handwoven circa 1910 with a traditional geometrical design on a terracotta field and deep indigo border. A particularly well balanced design with large ivory corner spandrels and lovely secondary colours of gold, pink and light blue.
Size: 3.44m x 2.63m (11ft 4in x 8ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. Very slight discolouration to a small section of ivory spandrel, barely noticeable (see photos).

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
