A wonderful antique Heriz carpet, hand woven circa 1920. The design features a large, geometrical central medallion surrounded by stylised flowers and vines on a rich terracotta field and particularly attractive indigo border. A very decorative carpet with great secondary colours of pinks, greens, golds and blues.
Size: 3.58m x 2.27m (11ft 9in x 7ft 5in)
This carpet is in good condition with even, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
