A lovely antique Karaja rug, woven circa 1920. The rug features the classical Karaja design of three geometrical medallions on a terracotta field surrounded by a deep blue border. Some beautiful secondary colours including pinks and golds but especially the soft green in the medallions.
Size: 1.91m x 1.30m (6ft 3in x 4ft 3in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
