A beautiful vintage Gabbeh rug, handwoven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe in the mid 20th Century. The rug has a slightly random design on a natural wool field with a number of stylised animals. Lovely wool quality and a great example of tribal art.
Size: 1.70m x 1.10m (5ft 7in x 3ft 7in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
