A lovely little vintage rug, woven in Egypt at the end of the 20th Century. This rug was part of a small production in Egypt that aimed to recreate classical Caucasian designs using good wool and dyes. So no, it's not an original antique Caucasian rug but it's a good quality look alike for a fraction of the cost!
Size: 1.64m x 1.08m (5ft 5in x 3ft 7in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
