A lovely antique rug, handwoven in the Caucasus mountains of southern Azerbaijan circa 1920. The design features a rather impressive medallion on a camel field and terracotta border. Note the well fed animals along the edges!

This rug is in good condition with moderate age-related wear. Fringes and selvedges have been over-bound and are both secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

Please note that all photos as well as the short videos are taken outdoors in natural light. The explainer videos are taken in my showroom under spotlights and may appear different (often a yellowish tinge). The photos remain closer to the original colours but this will change slightly in different home lighting. In no way does this affect your right to return the rug. To put it simply, I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your rug, please return it to me in it's original condition within 14 days for a full refund.
As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
