A lovely antique rug woven in the region of Cappadocia in central Turkey circa 1930. The rug features a large geometrical medallion on a terracotta field surrounded by an ivory border. Really attractive secondary colours including greens, golds and blues and a veery decorative little rug.
Size: 1.43m x 1.03m (4ft 8in x 3ft 5in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, however the charcoal wool in the medallion has corroded (giving the design a raised effect) - see photos. Fringes taped to the back at the top and a little untidy at the bottom. Selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

To put it simply, I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your rug, please return it to me in it's original condition within 14 days for a full refund.
As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
