A fabulous small antique Kerman Lavar rug, hand woven circa 1890 with a floral design around a circular saffron medallion surrounding a central figure that looks suspiciously like Napoleon Bonaparte! Very finely woven ( 9x9 knots per centimetre) with lovely quality wool.
Size: 0.85m x 0.62m (2ft 10in x 2ft)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
