A wonderful antique tribal rug, hand woven by the nomadic Belouch tribe circa 1900. The rug features an unusual all over design of large repeating flower heads on a charcoal grey field surrounded by a terracotta border. Finely woven with soft, lustrous wool and great secondary colours.
Size: 1.64m x 0.90m (5ft 5in x 3ft)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, some oxidisation to the charcoal grey, not unusual in this type of rug (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
