A fabulous vintage Tudeshk rug, woven in the middle of the 20th Century. The rug features an all over design of flower heads and leaves on an ivory field surrounded by an elegant light blue border. Extremely finely woven with 9 knots per centimetre giving the rug approximately 2.8 million knots. Soft, velvety wool and wonderful secondary colours of reds, greens and golds make this a very decorative and elegant rug.
Size: 2.24m x 1.55m (7ft 4in x 5ft 1in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. A couple of very small surface marks, barely visible. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
