A lovely vintage Gabbeh rug, hand woven in northern Afghanistan at the turn of this century featuring a banded design in shades of reds, golds and greys.
Size: 1.83m x 1.40m (6ft x 4ft 7in)
This carpet is in very good condition with minimal wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
