A lovely antique Hamadan rug, woven circa 1920. The rug features an elegant, all over design on an ivory field surrounded by an indigo border and secondary colours of reds and pinks. Lovely quality wool and a great chunky feel.
Size: 1.96m x 1.43m (6ft 5in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
