Antique Caucasian Chondoresk Rug 1.94m x 1.17m
A wonderful antique Caucasian rug, hand woven in the late 19th Century near the village of Khndzoresk in modern day Armenia. The rug features two large medallions with the iconic ‘cloudband’ design on a terracotta red field and ivory border. Note the animal figures throughout the field along with the disparity in the sizes of the medallions.
Size: 1.94m x 1.17m (6ft 4in x 3ft 10in)
This rug is in good condition with medium, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally restored and cleaned.

I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
