A beautiful antique Kazak long rug, handwoven in the Caucasus mountains of Central Asia circa 1910. The design features 5 geometrical medallions on a gold field and some fabulous secondary colours. Note the way the border design changes throughout the rug.
Size: 2.58m x 1.25m (8ft 6in x 4ft 1in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. 2 old areas of repair in 2 corners (see photos). Slight corrosion to black in minor borders.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
