A lovely vintage Sirjan rug, handwoven circa 1940 with a geometrical design on a deep indigo field and terracotta border. Note the numerous and varied stylised chickens and birds!
Size: 1.65m x 1.15m (5ft 5in x 3ft 9in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier on edges. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
