A lovely vintage Jaff bag face handwoven in the mid 20th Century by the Kurds of west Persia. This small rug would originally have been woven as part of a bag to carry possessions on migrations.
Size: 1.03m x 0.66m (3ft 5in x 2ft 2in)
This bag face is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
