A beautiful Karabagh kilim, handwoven in the south Caucasus circa 1930’s with an extravagantly floral design on an ink black field and a camel border. Fabulous secondary colours of pinks, reds, blues and greens.
Size 2.77m x 1.49m (9ft 1in x 4ft 11in)
This kilim is in good overall condition with light, age related wear. There is a small, crude repair to one edge (see photos).

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
